Skills:

• OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) preferred.
• Should have proficiency in Oracle Server (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c +..) Configuration and Administration.
• Must have experience with Dataguard, RMAN
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving database related issues.
• Knowledge of SQL (Secondary)

• Responsible for:

• All functions associated with maintenance of Oracle Server databases including security, back-up, reporting and recovery procedures
• Core Oracle DBA activities for Oracle 9i/10G/11g & 12c including error Diagnosis and handling of the same
• Create, Build and up-gradation of Instances and databases
• Oracle database build using ASM on RAC/non-RAC
• Manage and troubleshoot the L3 tasks independently
• Performance tuning, Scripting knowledge
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship.
• Database security patch application.
• Troubleshooting DB – Crash
• Rebuild Database due to Incident
• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
• Cross-training to support SQL in terms of maintenance of physical database structures and associated hardware, network and system configurations.
• Provides hands on technical expertise, provides senior level technical guidance to team members. Knowledge of SQL DB is preferable.
