• Planning the Storage, Backup, and Security strategy, including ownership for all data classification.
• Implementation of Storage based solutions including Storage Consolidation, SAN, Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution in line with defined strategy
• Define, design, execute and monitor Solution testing
• Identify, define, and develop improvements to processes that support the backup and storage infrastructure.
• Advance level support for troubleshooting, problem escalation and resolution post implementation
• Extensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup and Recovery and Disaster Recovery.
• Hands on backup solution, Storage and SAN Expert
• Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting large mission critical installations
• Understanding of Storage Architecture and SAN design.
• implementation experience of Commvault, Net Backup, HP DP, Spectrum Protect, Such market leading backup software’s.
• Good experience on Backups on multi-OS platforms - Unix, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Nutanix. 
• Good knowledge on SAN / NAS / FC Switches / Tape Libraries
• Should have strong technical experience/ expertise with applications to integrate with backup software. Such as Backup agents of various APIs like Database Backups, SAP or HANA, cloud-based backup or end point backups. 
• Understanding of all network and IT security standards and products like LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure and various components which integrates or used by backup or storage solution.
• Understanding of Cloud infra and backup solutions on cloud will be an added advantage with backup certifications.
• Previous experience of designing storage and backup strategies at an enterprise level
• Highly motivated with a desire to improve skills, processes and procedures.
• Should able to lead or drive project or POCs independently.  
•  Must have good communication and able to manage customer satisfaction
