Duties/ Roles & Responsibilities –.

Planning the Storage, Backup, and Security strategy, including ownership for all data classification.
Implementation of Storage based solutions including Storage Consolidation, SAN, Backup, and Disaster Recovery Solutions in line with a defined strategy
Define, design, execute and monitor Solution testing
Identify, define, and develop improvements to processes that support the backup and storage infrastructure.
Advanced level support for troubleshooting, problem escalation, and resolution post implementation
Extensive experience in Storage Consolidation, Backup and Recovery, and Disaster Recovery.
Hands-on backup solution, Storage, and SAN Expert
Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting large mission-critical installations
Understanding of Storage Architecture and SAN design.
implementation experience of Commvault, Net Backup, HP DP, Spectrum Protect, and Such market-leading backup software.
Good experience on Backups on multi-OS platforms - Unix, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Nutanix.
Good knowledge of SAN / NAS / FC Switches / Tape Libraries
Should have strong technical experience/ expertise with applications to integrate with backup software. Such as Backup agents of various APIs like Database Backups, SAP or HANA, cloud-based backups, or endpoint backups.
Understanding of all network and IT security standards and products like LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls
Understanding of IT Infrastructure and various components which integrates or are used by backup or storage solution.
Understanding of Cloud infra and backup solutions on the cloud will be an added advantage with backup certifications.
Previous experience in designing storage and backup strategies at an enterprise level
Highly motivated with a desire to improve skills, processes, and procedures.
Should be able to lead or drive projects or POCs independently.
Must have good communication and be able to manage customer satisfaction
